South EAST Zone Carnival – Pre-NOMS

shooters intending on participating in the upcoming S.E. Zone Carnival at
Melbourne Gun Club need to pre-nom (by post) for the event. The due date
for pre-noms is COB 24th September. Click here for a link to the form which has been directly

hosts the AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE TRAP CHAMPIONSHIP
The
Mornington Clay Target Club is honoured to be hosting the Defence Clay
Target Association’s annual trap championship over three days from 14th -
16th September. This competition is open to ACTA registered full-time ADF
members and Department of Defence civilians. Eligible personnel should
direct all enquiries to Mr Barry (Chris) Carrol who is based at HMAS
Cerberus – contact details available on the Defence intranet.
Membership update
From
August 1 to September 30, new shooters joining MCTC and the ACTA for the
first time as a FULL MEMBER will be eligible for a Half Year Membership
with the Australian Clay Target Association. The cost of this membership
is $115.50 (includes ACTA, VCTA, MCTC fees and Gun Levy). PLEASE NOTE:
Half year memberships are only applicable to ‘NEW FULL MEMBERS’ joining for
the first time. See the Membership & Licensing page for more
info.
DTL IS NOW throwing white flyers
All DTL
competitions at the MCTC will, from now on, be shot using White Flyer
targets.
NO SPORTING CLAYS SHOOT IN SEPTEMBER
Sorry but
the MCTC is not holding a sporting clays shoot in September. It’ll be
practice only.
